You can learn more about INVISTA by visiting www.INVISTACareers.com Responsibilities Manage the global Performance Surfaces & Materials (PS&M) trademark portfolio and consistently educate business clients by developing and creating trademark presentations on proper use and adherence to corporate guidelines including internet usage of brands. Prepare, file, and prosecute all new PS&M U.S. Trademark applications electronically in-house. Manage INVISTA's domain name portfolio for the PS&M business. Collaborate with business clients, colleagues and outside counsel in the development and support of trademark protection to protect INVISTA's intellectual property rights for the PS&M business. Together with Chief IP Counsel and Chief Licensing Counsel, ensure trademark license agreements reflect the company's trademark rights for brand licensing programs and further ensure compliance with company policy. Docket PS&M Trademark and Domain name matters. Manage the PS&M trademark portfolios, workflow, and the ongoing trademark and domain name risk assessment process, and docket same. Partner with Public Affairs and the PS&M business to review the PS&M press releases and other advertising materials to ensure compliance with trademark law as requested by the business. In collaboration with trademark licensing team, develop world class licensing program to ensure trademark rights are protected and enforced. Develop and provide the PS&M business with appropriate brand usage standards and processes. With the exception of patent related matters, implement and manage the new IP Asset Management System on behalf of the PS&M business. Provide due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures related to the PS&M business. Prepare training courses on trademark selection, clearance and use and conduct training classes for the PS&M business. Respond to trademark and other IP related inquiries made by in-house PS&M clients as necessary.Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent 8+ years previous experience in trademark application preparation and prosecution. Ability to offer sound advice with respect to trademarks, domain names and brand strategy. Ability to think strategically and globally to assess risks and solve complex problems. Excellent leadership capabilities. Demonstrate and build rapport between Legal and the PS&M business to advance our respective missions. Solid MS Office Skills (including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) Strong organization skills & attention to detail Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction as well as thrive in team environment.
