In House Corporate Paralegal with investment advisor experience

The Mergis Group, a division of Spherion is in search of an In House Corporate Paralegal with 2-3 years experience as a corporate paralegal with great references  for a successful downtown investment firm located in Washington DC.   This organization consists of investment professionals with extensive experience in trading, portfolio management, principal investigation, asset allocation, risk management, and investment management operations. Ideal candidate will have hedge fund experience, an understanding of financial markets and alternative investments a plus.  If you are a career Corporate Paralegal with corporate transactional experience with 2-3 years of experience and a four year degree, please apply.  INVESTMENT ADVISOR EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS  This position requires paralegal experience, if you are not a career paralegal, please do not apply.   Location is downtown Washington DCDesired Skills:   This position requires a career oriented paralegal with a four year degree 2-3 years experience as a corporate paralegal. Ideally candidate will have an understanding of financial markets and alternative investments a plus. Hedge fund experience helpful but not required.   Ideal candidate will have knowledge of legal and investment processes in a hedge fund or alternative asset class, procedures and terminology and processes.
