At least 3-5 years of a solid legal background in IP is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in all facets of IP law, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, licensing, computers and software, unfair competition, and all related litigation; must be highly attentive to detail, able to prioritize effectively and multi-task in a deadline driven environment; must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Qualifications

Skillfully synthesizes large quantities of complex information under pressure. Distills it to the most critical issues and draws accurate conclusions, taking into account a high degree of uncertainty.

Manages complexity well. Coordinates information and activities among groups with differing agendas, across multi-functional areas. History of successfully accomplishing goals of grand scope.

Uses multiple resources, quantitative, and qualitative research methodologies to capture and interpret information.

Experience handling issues of compliance for state and federal regulations.

Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.

Has superior organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized. Maintains a comprehensive library of reference and historical data.

Knowledge of intellectual property law including how to ensure protection and ownership of copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.

Experience with corporate law and corporate law procedures, including corporate financing regulations, securities registration, public and private placement procedures, and joint ventures.

A college degree or equivalent years of experience required.

A paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program required.
