JUNIOR DATA ANALYST (Short-term)

If you answered yes, apply for IE Discovery's Data Analyst / Database Programmer position! The job requires an average of 45 hours / week, with occasional evening or weekend work in client emergencies. YOUR MISSION

To contribute your data analysis, data manipulation, and programming skills to the cutting edge of the legal technology field.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESConvert, normalize and migrate data from a variety of database, text and image formats into and out of our InfoDox platform. This requires extensive scripting and database work in Microsoft Access and SQL Server. Build and improve tools to efficiently automate data analysis and manipulation tasks. Meet ad-hoc requests for our clients. Examples of this could be a one-time report in a specific format, a complicated data migration and cleanup, or an entire custom application, or anything else the client may request. Consistently communicate work progress with integrity. YOUR EXPERIENCE AND STRENGTHSStrong communicator, incredibly detail-oriented, flexible with changing deadlines and requirements2+ years experience analyzing and manipulating data in Microsoft Access and SQL Server. 2+ years experience developing tools and applications against relational databases in Microsoft Access and SQL Server. 2+ years experience with relational database design Experience with gathering and clarifying client requirements is a big huge plusExperience with relational database administration is a big plusExperience with VBA or VB is a big plusExperience in document imaging is a big plus. Experience with regular expressions, ASP, .NET, and/or Perl might come in handy occasionally. YOUR NATURE
