Large, top-tier, international Manhattan Law Firm seeks:

HR Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for employee relations, HRIS, performance management, compensation, staffing, organizational development and training.

The HR Manager is also responsible for investigating, analyzing and addressing complex problems encountered in the day-to-day operations of the department.

The HR manager assists with the developing strategy and prioritizing and executing multiple HR and line initiatives aimed at supporting the performance, development, reward, recognition and retention of the Firm’s administrative population with the Firm’s Department Heads, Managers and HR Staff. Perform other duties as required by Management.

The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources work experience with a comprehensive knowledge of HR principles; knowledge of HR related laws and regulations and have a strong background in Employee Relations.

Must have the ability to consult with senior management, quickly build relations and establish trust, respect, competence and confidence.

Ability to coach and train individuals in the core HR competencies and to questions status quo when is no longer in the best interest of the Firm.
