One of New Jersey's most well respected law firms, located in Roseland, NJ is seeking a savvy legal secretary to join their team as a floating secretary. 

The term "float" is often confused with "temporary" or "part time" or misconstrued as something it is NOT. 

A floater is a PERMANENT FULL TIME employee with the same benefits/perks that every other full time employee enjoys.  The only difference is that a float is not assigned to a department immediately.

The benefit for the employee is that this is a way to "break into" a larger firm, learn the software, learn the culture and get the feel of the environment.  The Firm is also learning the employee's strengths, aptitudes, etc.  The float staff will always, sooner or later, be placed in a department permanently - and, it is usually a great fit!
