POSITION: Legal Video/Multimedia Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Legal Video/Multimedia Specialist to join our company who will provide support in our video and digital presentation services department. The ideal candidate will legal video production experience and will have produced day-in-the-life documentaries, settlement videos, accident reconstruction videos, etc. You must possess advanced communication skills in order to discuss case issues with attorneys and experts. Should have advanced technical and troubleshooting abilities. Capable of high profile civil trial support. This full-time position reports to the Digital Trial/Video Services Manager and is based in our offices located in the Mid-Wilshire district of Los Angeles.

 

The key duties and responsibilities of this role will include:

· Consult with clients and experts, operate video production equipment including JVC5000 professional DV cameras, lighting equipment, Final Cut Pro editing and output

· Assist with document imaging, MPEG encoding, and synchronize deposition videos

· Assist with on-site equipment installation and breakdown in local courtrooms and client offices

 

Requirements for this challenging position:

· Minimum 5 years experience producing high-profile legal videos

· Must be highly organized and detail oriented

· Able to handle multiple projects and work well in fast-paced, high pressure situations

· Able to assume a professional appearance and work a flexible schedule that allows for overtime in order to meet client deadlines. May include early morning and/or overnight travel

· Experience with professional video cameras, basic lighting techniques, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Adobe Photoshop

· Certification in legal video services a plus
