Litigation Support Coordinator

Responsibilities

The Litigation Support Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day management and execution of litigation support projects. The Legal Support Coordinator may be responsible for:
Working with attorney work teams, outside counsel and selected vendors to develop litigation support strategy, work plan and budgets;Serving as primary point of contact for identifying and maintaining relationships with internal clients, outside counsel, and vendors/consultants;Creating and maintaining litigation databases;Working closely with internal Information Technology organization to resolve technical issues specific to litigation support technologies;Creating functional use guidelines and best practices documentation;Providing process and technological end-user assistance to internal and external users; andManaging project schedules, budgets and litigation support costs associated with discovery.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:Highly developed understanding of the litigation process, including all phases of discovery (i.e. preservation, collection, processing, and document review and production) and trial;Proficient knowledge of litigation support and electronic discovery practices;Functional proficiency in leading discovery applications such as Summation, Concordance, Prevail, Attenex, EED, Introspect;Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;Highly-developed interpersonal skills, customer service oriented, strong organizational, written and verbal skills;Highly developed understanding and appreciation for working with highly sensitive and confidential information;Ability to write concise process and end-user documentation;Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to change;Ability to work overtime and/or off hours when necessary; andCandidate must be self-motivated and able to work in teams and independently.

Basic / Required Qualifications:Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictionsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or legal-related field3 - 5 years legal experience in litigation support
