Litigation Support Manager London Law Firm

Top International Law firm is currently seeking a Litigation Support Manager for their London office. Ideal candidates will have experience working in London.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Individual will work closely with attorneys on projects to establish work requirements, consolidate and confirm requirements, establish delivery timeframe, manage turnaround times and communicate with attorneys about such at all times, and do whatever else is necessary to build confidence in the attorney that their job will be produced accurately and in a timely fashion.  He / She will ensure quality work is being delivered and will perform spot checking before they are delivered to the attorneys. Candidate will make sure that the jobs are correct and follow up with the attorneys and case teams to ensure satisfactory work was performed by the litigation support department.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Handling attorney complaints, questions and concerns. Working on relationship building and bring back leads of potential attorneys and promoting the department’s services. Develop project specifications, documentation and project schedules in accordance with attorney requirements. Keep attorney and case team apprised of project status through logs and status reporting. Provide specifications to analyst staff and vendors, and ensure understanding of requirements by performing quality audits. Communicates with project managers to track progress and ensure schedule compliance. Stay a top of latest database and litigation softwares through research, web demos and vendor presentations. Contribute to the department’s overall initiative to consistently improve its image internally and externally; displaying professionalism, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience is required AND a minimum of two years proven project management skills in a law firm Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills while communicating with all levels of personnel Experience with Concordance, Summation, IPRO, LiveNote, Casemap and MS Access is a must Organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to solve analytical and technical problems are necessary Attention to detail, accuracy and quality essential. Strong skills in documenting and recording process and implementing and following practices and procedures.
