Marketing ManagerCategory: Marketing Location: PhiladelphiaOur client is currently looking for a Marketing Manager for the firm's Business and Finance practice (corporate) resident in the firm's Philadelphia office. The individual will work with the Philadelphia leadership of the Business and Finance practice and the leadership of selected firm-wide sub-practices within Business and Finance, to provide support for projects that lead to the generation of new business for the group. The manager will report directly to the practice's Director of Marketing and will be an integral member of the firmwide marketing team. The candidate will be expected to:'Author compelling marketing materials (both written proposals and Powerpoint)'Assist office and practice leadership in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans'Coordinate competitive research'Coordinate public relations efforts (internal and external) with the firm's public relations team'Develop, organize and execute office and practice events'Assist in data collection and reportingWho we're looking forThe ideal candidate will be an articulate and highly-organized self-starter, with 4-6 years of proven professional services marketing/sales experience. Law firm experience is preferred, but experience marketing/selling sophisticated products for an accounting, management consulting, investment banking/financial services, training, or other professional service firm would be highly valued. An undergraduate degree in business, marketing/sales management, communications, public relations or journalism is required and an advanced business degree is desirable. Candidates must have excellent project management, verbal and written communication skills and should be proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of office products, as well as sales/marketing databases. Candidates should also have excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
