Top of FormProject Marketing Manager, Internal Communications Job Description A leader in the practice of law worldwide, seeks an experienced Project Manager to advance the goals of the firm in the areas of marketing and internal communications. Directly supporting the Global Director of Internal Communications, the PM will identify, plan, and manage implementation of a variety of projects supporting global and regional internal communications objectives. The PM will work closely with marketing personnel across the organization as well as with firm leaders and personnel worldwide. -Guide the development of a global internal communications function, by managing a multitude of simultaneous internal communications projects, maintaining responsibility for delivery and execution in accordance with project plans, budgets, and timelines.-Develop a calendared communications schedule for key groups within the firm, sometimes authoring the planned communications as well as other material that may include key messages, strategy documents, executive level presentations and updates, and more.-Develop tool kits, procedures, and protocols for internal communications, which might include communications flow charts, editorial calendars, audits, research, etc. -Assist the Global Director of Internal Communications with day-to-day management activities including budgeting, planning, meetings, communication, and staff supervision.-Review all communications and projects for quality and consistency of message and brand.-Analyzes and reviews quotes and contracts from various vendors and performs cost analysis against budget. Selects the vendor, negotiates prices and signs contract on behalf on the firm. Work closely with other marketing functions such as branding, design, external communications, and client development to facilitate and execute projects. -Manages various parts of the internal communications budget. -Serve as liaison between the Marketing Operations team and other marketing functions. -Overseeing the creating and implementation of a project intake system for the internal communications team including roll-out and continued adaptation for the team globally.Candidate must have a 4-year degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Business. Ideal candidate will be a client service focused, personable, detail-oriented, and high-energy professional. Position requires a minimum of 6-8 years experience in project management role, preferably in a marketing or professional services environment, PR or other creative agency. Solid organizational skills required to manage multiple high priorty projects at one time. Performs a broad range of assignments with efficiency and accuracy. Excellent time management skills necessary and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong negotiation skills and ability to use discretion and independent judgment when acting on behalf of the firm in matters of significance. Experience creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Excellent communications skills'both written and verbal.
