The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This position exists to provide leadership, management, direction and vision for the development and evolution of the quality assurance and testing processes as part of the Software Development Life Cycle. This includes working closely with the Program Management, Product Management and Development teams, as well as Quality Assurance staff including QA Engineers, Test Engineers and Software Change Management Engineers. The incumbent will be responsible to provide the overall leadership in the execution of quality assurance and test methodology. Additionally, the Manager will establish a strong team and build effective partnerships within the Program and IT organization.Qualifications 1. Must be process oriented and have a passion for quality assurance. 2. Experience with automated testing with commercial packages or customized automation testing tools preferred; Mercury tools a plus. 3. Versatile communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and/or concepts to technical and non-technical personnel. 4. Demonstrated ability in areas of personal leadership, influence and impact. 5. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and within deadlines. 6. 5-7 years of software testing experience, with 2-3 of those years in a management or leadership role. 7. BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent. 8. Must possess an understanding of n-tier architecture 9. Prior experience with testing web applications 10. Familiarity with Agile methodology a plus 11. Must be able to analyze project requirements to determine staffing needs and plan resources accordingly 12.
