Location: US-NJ-NorthernYour location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Investment Management Firm is looking for an experienced Mutual Fund/40 Act Paralegal to:  Draft updates for mutual fund prospectuses, SAIs, supplements and proxy statements Prepare mutual fund board materials Coordinate various regulatory filings via EDGAR with the SEC Draft, update, and file various organizational documents.  The candidate should be familiar with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and will have significant involvement in day-to-day legal affairs of mutual funds. Extensive interaction with senior management is a plus.   Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate is preferred. At least one year of relevant experience with mutual funds or experience including public filings; SEC experience, EDGAR, printer experience, etc., Candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, oral and written communication skills, proofreading skills and strong organizational and analytical skills.
