National Account Manager (Mass Market)
PrimaryNew Customer Development. Call on national accounts regarding new and existing product to maximize sales Establish strong relationships with and provide excellent account service to clients at a senior level Manage existing US wholesale business throughout the USSecondaryResponsible for sales budgets and targets, which are set by management each yearProvide input that helps direct market development, sales promotion, distribution and pricing policiesAnalyze sell-through to maximize sales, lower return rates, and provide accurate forecastsRegular follow-up with management which should include: reporting on sales goals, sales call report, monthly account business reports, efficiencies and overall performanceWork with marketing to create account specific programsInitiates proactive strategies to improve sell-through opportunities.Participates in trade shows to develop business leads as Samsung's eyes and ears. Review inventories against market demands and forecasts. Reviews inventory aging and devaluation requirements and pursue close out opportunities Resolve any issues regarding shipments and payments that hold up the shipping of product to the customer.Who we're looking forCandidate must have strong connections with buying offices for some or all mass market retail accounts including bridge department stores (Sears, Kohls, Penneys) to chain drug retailers (Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid) to mass volume Retailers (Walmart, Target, Kmart). This person must be an autonomous, creative, self-starter that is prepared to get involved in all aspects of the business with a true "hands-on" approach; an energetic, natural communicator with a strong ability to plan and execute a program while working with all level of management. Position requires organization, excellent oral and written communication skills.
