The Payroll Administrator will provide accounting and auditing support for the Firm's payroll, general ledger, statutory requirements and other human resources data and will provide quality control for payrolls. Major responsibilities include: process the Firm's monthly payroll, bi-weekly and/or partner payrolls; prepare overtime reports; assist in the preparation of materials for annual retirement plan audit; prepare monthly journal entries and processes quarterly and annual tax reports and filing; process all changes relating to wages and overtime, benefits deductions, 401(k) deductions and loans. Additionally, the Administrator will collect data and provide analytical, budgeting and other tasks as requested using Ultipro, CMS, Excel, Monarch and other PC applications. The Administrator will also respond to employee inquiries for payroll related matters and will assume additional responsibilities as requested.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent. 5+ years of related payroll experience, preferably in a law firm environment, including thorough knowledge of payroll systems and accounting. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Excellent skills in judgment and ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential information. Strong computer skills. This position is part-time (3 days a week). EOE
