The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities The Product Planner - Verdicts & Experts role assists in the development of the product category strategy goals and objectives and executes action in the accomplishment of those goals in this highly competitive content space. This position assists in maximizing revenue and profit of the product category for RLBIS through content and product management. Manages additional projects assigned by the product champion across functional areas.Qualifications 1. Undergraduate degree required; JD (with litigation experience)/MBA preferred or equivalent combination of educational achievement and related professional experience. 2. Requires a minimum of 5 - 7 years of product development/management or marketing experience. Information services, legal industry and publishing product experience a plus. 3. Skills required include business acumen, strategic planning, organizational assessment, creativity, technical savvy, highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, document drafting; quantitative analytical abilities and outstanding communication skills. 4. Ability to effectively lead in a matrix organization. 5. Strategic Alliance and/or Acquisition experience preferred.***Hiring managers are open to reviewing applications from qualified candidates not limited to geography. Colorado Springs or Bellevue locations preferred. However, there is flexibility on the location of this position.*** Accountabilities: 1. Assist in development and implementation of short and long-term strategies for the product category. 2. Work with market research group to establish product features, pricing recommendations, etc. 3. Assess competitive product positioning. 4. Define product features, benefits. 5. Develop product requirements & documentation. 6. Collaborate with Marketing to create support materials, promotional campaigns and schedule. 7. Define organizational resource allocation and impacts. 8. Work with sales to finalize pricing, sales motion, training and revenue targets. 9. Educate organization on product (all functional teams). 10. Lead and collaborate with implementation partners (IT, Editorial, Finance, Vendors). 11. Create and drive product launch/releases. 12. Manage vendor relationships. 13. Monitor product performance and future development. 14. Identify opportunities within USLM for collaboration and leveraging resources. 15.
