Program Developer
SUMMARY: Individual will work as both part of team and independently in developing and implementing business application programs that utilize Microsoft SQL Server. Projects will include new program development, extending and enhancing the functionality of existing applications, and performing data migration projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Developing LAN/WAN/Web based business applications programs which utilize Microsoft SQL Server DatabasesPerforming data migration and application implementation projects Creating, extending and enhancing functionality of existing applications and maintaining them Providing end-user application and technical support Developing, documenting and reviewing quality code Doing what it takes to professionally satisfy customers Performs other duties as directed.
REQUIREMENTS include the following: 2+ years experience in developing systems using Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Visual Basic, ASP, C/C++/C#, HTML, Java and (.NET).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree from a college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of some medical terminology preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific, and technical literature. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients in a professional manner. Ability to construct reports and correspondence utilizing appropriate spelling, grammar, and format. Ability to utilize computer skills to communicate and record data. Ability to respond to common inquiries or requests from managers or other personnel.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
