In this role you  will serve as a key member of the legal team and be an in-house expert and resource for real estate law and transactions.  Responsibilities: Serve as in-house legal real estate expert on behalf of Company with over 1000+ locations and growing. Prepare, negotiate and draft property purchase, lease and sale agreements, including · Purchase and sale agreements · Lease agreements · Easements · Licenses · Construction contracts Draft, review and negotiate contracts affecting Real Estate and Construction departments. Draft and negotiate Confidentiality Agreements issued by Real Estate Department to potential vendors. Review lease provisions in order to respond to inquiries from internal clients (Real Estate, Construction, and/or Facilities Department) regarding Company’s rights and responsibilities under the terms of the lease. Qualifications: 5 to 7 years experience in real estate law, preferably with retail chain or commercial developer.  Must have experience with commercial real estate. Strong understanding and expertise with ground up construction, commercial real estate property leases and lease purchase transactions. Must have experience with commercial leases from inception to execution, reviewing/drafting leases and handling negotiations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
