CITY/STATE: Minneapolis, MN 55402POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Legal Real Estate Paralegal with heavy acquisition experience     Popular and well-known law firm located in downtown Minneapolis is seeking a real estate paralegal with at least 2 years of related experience.  This position deals with large commercial acquisition and is not relevant to residential experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Drafting of loan and collateral documents, including closing checklists, loan agreements, notes, mortgages, security agreements, financing statements, guaranties, financing statements, estoppel and subordination agreements, and closing instruction letters Participate in meetings with clients and contact with other parties to keep the transaction moving; Obtain and summarize UCC and related public record searches; prepare and complete UCC filings in appropriate jurisdictions Obtain zoning letters; review title commitments and surveys, and handle clearing of title exceptions Coordinate and participate in closings, including management of documents and closing transcripts Maintain relationships with title companies and other vendors Draft basic real estate and corporate documents, including deeds, certificates, affidavits and resolutions QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal degree/certificate.
