Records and Docket Manager in DC Law Firm! TO 83K!

A large, well-known Washington DC law firm is currently seeking a Records and Docket Manager to manage a staff of 5 in the Records and Docket Department.  Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with docket and records policies and procedures, supervising the maintenance of dockets and administration of files, developing training for docket procedures, performing conflict checks in Elite, and interfacing with vendors.  The Manager will also liaise with the Human Resources Department in hiring, orientation, professional development, evaluation, and workflow coordination.  Qualified candidates must be very familiar with document management systems, database applications, electronic filings, and internet resources. Willingness to adapt to new technology applications and work with development of new systems are essential as are good judgment, the ability to work with many types of people, and excellent communication skills.
