Senior Accountant (Public Accounting Firm)

Our client is a 40 person public accounting firm who is looking for a senior accountant to start on a temp to hire basis. If you are looking for a good quality of life (9AM-5PM), with a good team atmosphere, and friendly working enviornment then this position is for you.Duties will include: •Year end audits and compilations•Monthly write ups•Preparation of various financial statements •Preparation and review of various tax returns, which include individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts•Monthly close, billing, and various other ad hoc projectsWho we're looking for• BS Accounting• 5 years recent public accounting experience• Knowledge of GAAP strongly preferred• Must be willing to work in a team and to also work unsupervised• Must have a strong work ethic• Must be easy going and flexibleAbout our clientOur client is a 40 person public accounting firm based in Roseland that caters to clients that range from approximately $10-50M in sales.
