Senior Audit Analyst

The Responsibilities of the Senior Audit Analyst are:• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and monitoring of company's financial control practices across all areas of the company's operations. • Work with Regional Internal Controls Managers and Process/Control Owners to ensure the information in the Sarbanes Oxley software program is up-to-date and testing results are incorporated as appropriate. • Work with process/control owners on a monthly basis to ensure timely change management and communications, as well as ensuring Sarbanes Oxley is embedded in their daily process. • Responsible for the overall quality review of documentation, including narratives, flowcharts, and other documentation related to changes in business processes. • Assist in determining the impact of internal control deficiencies and preparing Summary of Deficiencies Log. • Maintain a software program designed specifically for Sarbanes Oxley compliance. • Develop approaches to streamline control framework by increasing reliability on automated vs. manual controls. • Assist with the Company's external auditors on Sarbanes Oxley documentation and testing.Who we're looking forThe ideal Senior Audit Analyst should have the following background:•  Understanding of the Sarbanes Oxley legislation and resulting rules as issued by the SEC and PCAOB.•  Knowledge and understanding of the COSO framework for Internal Controls.•  Experience with internal or external Sarbanes Oxley compliance process.•  Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.•  Strong written and verbal communication skills.•  Ability to engage and interact with all levels of the organization and demonstrated ability to perform in an environment which emphasizes teamwork.•  Manufacturing and Risk Management experience a plus.•  Experience with ERP systems and related financial processes and controls a plus.About our clientLarge manufacturing companyWhat's on the offerThe Senior Audit Analyst will be compensated according to experience.
