HR Partner Practice
HR Partner is the HR Consulting practice for Willis. HR Partner provides strategic guidance and hands-on assistance across all areas of human resources. This includes workplace practices and administration, HR strategy, the employment process, HR audits, training and development and compensation consulting. HR Partner is a “value added” resource that brings tools and knowledge to our clients with the objective of supporting them in their initiatives to become compliant and strategic.

Senior HR Consultant
Proactively consults with clients and recommends HR solutions to improve critical business outcomes, with a strong emphasizes on employment law issues.
· Reviews and creates HR related documents, such as Employee Handbooks, Policies and Procedures, Recruitment and Selection forms, etc.
· Handles client and EB professional inquiries regarding compliance issues, HR strategy, workplace practices, compensation, employee relations, and other HR related issues.
· Responds client and office request for sample HR tools and resources.
· Provides expertise and assistance related to employment and labor law.
· Conducts comprehensive HR Audits.
· Proactively partners with EB professionals to attract and retain clients.
· Actively participates as a team member and /or lead on various client projects, to include comprehensive HR Audits, process improvements.
· Participates in prospect and client meetings to discuss services of the Employee Benefits Practice and the role of HR Partner.
· Analyzes proposed and established legislation pertaining to labor relations and employment matters, creating webcast, articles, and training materials on critical issues.
· Writes material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs and recommends appropriate changes.
· Conducts training programs, seminars, and conferences for clients, local Willis offices and various industry events.
· Ability to develop creative solutions and value propositions for our clients.
· Capable of formulating and executing project plans.
· Ability to help clients solve problems that deal with HR strategies, process, organization, technology and compliance.
Experience
· Four to six years experience as a practicing labor and employment attorney.
· Extensive knowledge of employment and labor law, including EEOC, State Civil Rights, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and other State and Federal employment law.
· Experience in a Human Resources department or consulting role is a plus.
· Knowledgeable with compensation systems, HR technology solutions, HR Strategy, performance management and recruitment and selection practices.
· Must be highly organized and able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
· Strong relationship building skills.
· Strong team player.
· PHR,SPHR or GPHR a plus.
· 30 to 45% travel, to include overnight travel and day trips.
