Senior Software Engineer - Trading Systems

The Senior Software Engineer will be part of Trading Systems group. This group is responsible for providing pre-trade analytical solutions to trading desks. The Senior Software Engineer will augment the current team to develop tools and applications to be used by portfolio managers to help in pre trade functions. The Senior Software engineer will build applications that analyze market data, build analytical models to price various derivative instruments and build quantitative applications. The Senior Software Engineer will possess a strong quantitative & programming background, ability to work independently, assume additional responsibilities as required:•Work closely with Portfolio managers and traders in order to better understand their requirements, and effectively communicate a systems solution to those users in a manner easily understood. •Design and develop high-level computer applications, with a clear focus on providing effective solutions.Who we're looking for• Minimum of 10 years of software development experience• More than 6 years of Java/C++ experience • Experience with Matlab or R preferred • Strong knowledge of derivatives and quantitative finance. • Experience working in an Asset Management or Trading Technology environment is highly preferred• CFA or pursuit of CFA is recommendedAbout our clientMy client is a top Hedge Fund with $40+ billion AUM.What's on the offerExcellent base, bonus, and benefits!For further information please forward a detailed resume along with current salary,
