Software Engineer

We are looking to engage a flexible, talented, Unix Software Engineer with minimum of 5 years experience working as a developer who is fluent in SQL and at least one of:

 

Perl

Ruby

PHP

Python

 

and one of:

 

Java

C++

C

 

Our ideal candidate will also have: basic systems administration skills, in-depth knowledge of web applications, good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, experience writing software for multi-cpu environments (threading/etc), and understanding of data warehousing and reporting principals.

 Experience using remote API’s over the internet. Experience with writing tools to process large amounts of data.

This is a full time salaried position.

 

Candidates must be able to work legally in the US, and live within commuting distance to Manhattan.
