Sr .NET Developer

The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This position will lead the design, development and implementation of customer facing web applications. Will also participate in new product and feature development working with other development teams. Will develop and maintain tier-1 applications with a robust and scalable web architecture for an ever expanding customer base (mid to large).Qualifications A minimum of 8 years of Information Technology experience. - A minimum of 5 years of experience with .NET, including at least 1 year using DotNetFramework 2.0. - Hands-on development experience with .NET, VB.NET and or C#, XML, XSL - Experience in Web Application as well as Client Server Application Development - Basic development experience with SQL queries - Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Experience as a primary front-end architect on successful midsize to large web application development projects from requirements through implementation - Web Services and Java are a plus. - Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.Other Information The following major/degree is preferred for the position:Computer ScienceThe preferred years of experience for this position is 8 years.Closing Statement LexisNexis employs over 13,000 people in more than 20 countries who serve customers in more than 100 countries.
