Sr Sales Engineer

The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This position is responsible for working in conjunction with sales, marketing, and product managers as the bridge between our sales representatives and their pre-sale customers. This position owns the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering information to our customers both onsite, online and via telephoneAccountabilities include:1. Manage RFP and RFI responses2. Work with field sales executives to develop and execute sales strategies for targeted accounts. Responsible for tracking, documenting and maintaining pre-sales customer requirements. 3. Work with product marketing to enhance Examen solutions with features that address market needs4. Work with the professional services organization and create Statements of Work (SOWs) for integration and EDI projects and manage their implementation. 5. Provide consultation to pre-sales customers and help with planning and implementation of Examen solutions6. Provide detailed knowledge of Examen solutions within pre-sales customer environments7. Demonstrate software products to business and technical audiences8. Perform sales presentations to business and legal C level audiences. 9. Other duties as assignedQualifications 1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, Computer Sciences degree preferred, MBA is a plus2. 4 or more years of sales engineering experience selling both software products and services, preferably in the legal industry. 3. Practical understanding of sales methodology applied in support of enterprise class software and the SaaS model. 4. Extensive experience in demonstrating software products to business and technical audiences5. Excellent presentation skills6. Strong oral and written communication skills 7. Solid negotiation skills8. Experience and knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Java, XML, and J2EE. 9. Experience with systems integration, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) or application server technology10.
