Supervisor - Healthcare Audit

• Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy• Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients• Supervising engagement team and preparing end-of-engagement evaluations for staff• Monitoring and reporting regarding the productivity of staff, and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment• Keeping abreast of all industry developments and ensuring professional development through ongoing education• Anticipating and addressing client concerns, and escalating problems as they arise• Recognizing and informing management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clientsWho we're looking for•  Experience within a Public Accounting firm and have expertise in all aspects of external audit•  Minimum of 4 years experience in Public Accounting•  Experience acting as an in-charge on various engagements•  A strong background for simultaneously managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients•  Solid understanding of audit and attest services•  General knowledge of FASB regulations, GAAS, and GAAP•  CPA or demonstrated progress toward obtaining CPA certification•  Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting•  Experience or interest in working with health careAbout our clientRSM McGladrey is one of the nation's leading providers of financially focused business services to midsized companies.
