Systems Engineer - Interaction in Citrix Environment

Position Summary

 

Provide overall support to the Global CRM system (Interaction) and the Citrix environment including 2nd level user support.  This role will include supporting other systems managed by the Engineering team. Perform any other duties as required.

 

Duties and Accountabilities

 Back End SystemsServersMonitoring health of serversProviding assistance in the building of new servers for the EnvironmentBackupsChecking all SQL Backups are working CitrixWorking with other members of Systems Engineering to resolve any reported issuesPCRWorking with other members of Systems Engineering to resolve any reported issues

 2nd line Support of the following systems including escalation to 3rd line supportCRM SystemDesktop access to the CRM SystemCitrix AccessProblems with PCR

 

Qualifications

 

· Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

· Good problem management skills 

· Capacity to learn, to assimilate information quickly and to acquire new skills.

· Ability to analyse technical challenges and approaches solutions in a systematic fashion.

· Working knowledge and experience in supporting InterAction 5.5 at least 1/2 years

· Experience in supporting Citrix at a 2nd/3rd level

· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and Active Directory.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Networking

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write concise, accurate and readable technical documentation and reports

· Successful track record of working in an IT Operations and/or IT Support background

· A professional service background would be preferred and ideally some experience of working in a Partnership.
