Technical Consultant II & Senior Consultant I Positions

TWO POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE Technical Consultant II 3 to 5 years of industry experienceSenior Consultant I - 5+ years of industry experience     To be qualified for this role, you must have a 4-year degree and a minimum of 3-5 years industry experience or 5+ years industry experiance working in enterprise environments on Windows Servers.  MCSE and/or related technical certifications are strongly preferred. Your primary job responsibilities include providing consultative technology services, as well as the design and implementation of complex and comprehensive technology solutions to the Firm’s clients.  This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills.  The ideal candidate is self motivated and capable of working in both team and individual settings.  It is preferred that you have experience with systems administration, migrations, software deployments, and you need to be able to work well with both business and technical users. Continuing technical training and certification is available and strongly encouraged.  Specialized career tracks are available in areas including, but not limited to:  virtualization, systems management, enterprise content management, storage area networks, business continuity and disaster recovery. Qualifications:· Minimum of 3 years hands on experience with a strong understanding of Windows operating systems 2000/2003/XP/VISTA consisting of installation, configuration, use and troubleshooting. This experience must include in-depth file systems and registry level knowledge.  · Active Directory and group policy experience is preferred.· Thorough understanding of common infrastructure applications and networking technology is required (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.).· Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003/2007 experience is preferred.· Knowledge of enterprise imaging, operating system deployment strategies and application packaging/distribution is preferred.· Microsoft SQL Server experience a plus· Storage Area Network experience a plus· Enterprise Systems Management (Altiris, SMS, SCCM) experience a plus· Knowledge of routing, switching and firewall infrastructure a plus Highly advantageous experience:· Document Management Systems (Interwoven, OpenText, WORLDOX, SharePoint)· Experience with Citrix Presentation Server 3.x/4.x· Experience with VMware ESX 2.x / VI 3.x· Data Center Consolidation and/or Centralization Responsibilities:· Participation and/or leading projects of varying size and duration· Participation and/or leading of client support teams· Participation in the firms On Call system for clients· Documentation is expected on all assignments· Participation on internal Expert Teams· Continuing education and certification· Must be willing to travel  MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
