Transaction Services Managers/Directors

The Transaction Services (TS) group is seeking Managers/Directors who will be fully dedicated to working in the area of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), performing financial due diligence and other transaction- related services. Transaction Services professionals work closely with deal professionals and Senior Management from some of the largest, most sophisticated Private Equity funds and Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions departments. Transaction Services professionals develop valuable skills working in various industries and across many different facets of the Mergers & Acquisitions process.TS is a fast-growing business with needs at all career levels, and career advancement is based on merit. TS project teams are relatively small which provides TS professionals with significant exposure to the Partner team leader and to client personnel. Assurance/audit experience is a highly valued skill set in TS, and most TS professionals have an assurance/audit background.Financial due diligence consists of interviewing the executive management team of the target company; understanding the key drivers of the business; and assessing the quality of the target company?s reported earnings, net assets and cash flows. TS delivers concise, deal issue-oriented reports and oral presentations to its clients which highlight the key findings from due diligence, suggest how such findings should be incorporated into the client?s valuation and/or purchase and sale agreement, and provide other negotiating points.As a member of this team responsibilities comprise of overseeing all day-to-day aspects of a project, which includes: determining the appropriate areas of focus for the project team; coaching the junior members of the project team on the day-to-day execution of the fieldwork; ensuring that the team identifies the key issues and other findings and that those issues/findings are communicated to the Partner and to the client. TS professionals will research complex accounting issues and assist with deal structuring. Directors and Managers will be responsible for reviewing the financial due diligence reports written by the team to ensure that it appropriately highlights the key issues and other findings.Who we're looking for•  CPA License•  5 or more years of prior work experience in accounting and auditing/assurance or combination of accounting and auditing/ assurance and industry experience•  Strong interpersonal, writing and oral communication skills paid with solid technical skills and detailed work knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, particularly in the area of business combinations•  Must have good general business sense and be able to analyze complex business and transaction situations to identify and analyze her elements and issues•  Must be flexible and willing to travel approximately 25%- 35% both domestically and internationally.About our clientA Top Tier Professional Service Firm in Boston.What's on the offerCompetitive compensation package paired with excellent benefits and relocation bonus incentives.For further information please forward a detailed resume along with current salary,
