U.S. Patent ParalegalOur IP Patents & Innovations group is searching for an experienced U.S. Patent Paralegal with 4+ years of experience. Under the supervision of attorney/senior paralegal, responsibilities include performing searches, review of Filing Receipts and Assignment Recordation Notices for accuracy and completeness; ordering prior art, patents and other documentation; utilization of CPI and Docketing; prepare and file requests for Certificate of Correction; responses to Notices.  The candidate would also be responsible for transmittal documents and provisional patent applications; review patent applications for completeness and technical accuracy; assist with filing Continuation and Divisional applications; understanding patent claims structure; assist in IP Due Diligence and searching; create and maintain status reports, claim sets, figure sets, portfolio summaries and visual packages, i.e., family trees; prepare patent file histories for review in interference and re-exam proceedings, including indexing and table of contents; organize exhibits and coordinate exhibit assembly.  Paralegal certificate a plus, Bachelor’s degree required.
