VP Sol Line Product Marketing

The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This position is responsible for developing value propositions and messaging at the product and solution line level, for developing solution line marketing priorities which are shared with Regional Marketing as input into segment marketing plans, and for providing product marketing thought leadership to solution line leaders and product champions.Qualifications 1. Requires MBA and/or JD, or equivalent experience. 2. Requires a minimum of 10-12 years related product and solutions marketing experience. Ideally, this includes marketing experience in a large organization, preferably in publishing or software, with an emphasis on developing marketing messages and value propositions. 3. Experienced leader with strong track record of managing effectively in a complex, multi-cultural, matrixed environment with virtual teams of high-level professionals in business units across the globe. 4. Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, writing and negotiation skills. 5. Business orientation with an understanding of how to translate business solutions and opportunities into marketing strategies. 6. Proven success in driving results. 7. Proven ability to build strong relationships at every level of the organization and is a strong motivator who knows how to influence and get others to consistently do their best work.
