As a Vice President in our Law Firm Strategy and Structure Practice, you will help our clients to build better, more profitable firms. Key Areas of Expertise: Working with clients to define current position within the market, competitor positioning and industry trends. Analysis of client profiles, recommending alternatives to improve performance and implement appropriate strategies. Facilitate partnership retreats focused on current positioning and strategy development. Working with clients to ensure alignment between law firm strategy and compensation methodology. Playing an active role in the identification, analysis and negotiation f merger and acquisition opportunities. Performing in depth examination of the financial and operational issues related to the merger or acquisition of law firms. Assessing the financial performance of law firms, practice groups and offices; working with clients to quantify and resolve financial issues. Developing profitability studies, capital plans, long-range forecasts and financial benchmarks for law firms. Analysis of cost structure and developing programs to reduce inefficiencies. Counseling clients in economic distress and representing restructuring or dissolving firms in creditor negotiations, asset disposition and legal fee collection.A successful candidate will have the following: Advanced degree required 8-10 years prior consulting experience in professional services, preferably within the legal industry Highly refined financial and modeling skills Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to perform sophisticated financial analyses Demonstrated supervisory/mentoring experience Superior problem solving skills, creativity and judgment Excellent oral and written communication abilities Ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues and support staff For more information on Hildebrandt International and the consulting services we offer, please refer to http://www.hildebrandt.com DISCLAIMERThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
