Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Inside Sales Representative to join our existing Minneapolis sales team.  Our ideal candidate will aspire to grow into our sales organization as an Account Manager within 1 to 2 years of hire.

 

Applicant will work with new and existing corporate leads using a consultative approach to fill foreign language translation and related needs for a variety of clients. Position heavily relies on phone and email to keep in contact with multiple contacts, finding and filling all needs they may have as they occur. Applicant will be trained in business communication, international regulations, and various aspects of the language industry.  Applicants should be upbeat, confident, and have previous business-to-business communication experience. However, all applicants with good communications skills will be considered and trained in corporate sales techniques. 

 

ResponsibilitiesBuild upon existing corporate sales prospectsDaily interaction with large prospect baseResponding to prospect’s quotation requests, needs, and inquiriesFollowing up and out calling for direct salesSharing of any interaction and involvement with customers that might require the outside salesperson's attention, or may result in additional salesUnderstanding the goals and concepts of our business and incorporating business goals to achieve sales and profitabilityRepresent strong levels of integrity and accountability regarding KJI servicesAnswer incoming calls from potential clients and prospectsDistribution of company marketing materials Prospecting and qualifying leads for opportunitiesRouting of opportunities to Account Managers, as well as Distribution channels for order fulfillment



QualificationsBA/BS plus 0 – 2 years sales experience or a combination of education and experience. Strong communication skills (including interpersonal and written) and a positive proactive approach.  Sales experience, call center or industry experience is a plus. General PC knowledge including word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications.
