Principal Consulting Manager – Acquisition Management/Information Assurance

Location: Montgomery, AL

 

Robbins-Gioia is currently recruiting for the following position: Principal Consulting Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, skills and abilities: 6 years of Professional experience; 3 years specialized in the field of Acquisition Management/Information Assurance Knowledgeable of DoD Acquisition Policy and Government ContractsAbility to communicate effectively Ability to balance multiple priorities Displays consistent initiative and involvement with customers



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position/Project Summary: Provide project management supporting including assisting with preparing, reviewing, analyzing and evaluating program documentation & systems; Assist in presenting specific briefings; Assist with Risk & Problem identification & resolution; Make recommendations for improvement; Advise and assist in the management and tracking of educational and training requirements for Government personnel; Assist in developing training materials and presentation of the training; Provide Source Selection support; Assist in developing and documenting decisions support systems and models; Assist in risk assessments and recommend evaluation criteria; Assist in developing Source Selection documents


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Acquisition:

§ Assist in maintaining, and implementing the Balance Scorecard

§ Assist in the AFSO21 process

§ Coordinate Monthly Acquisition Reports (MARs) for Group activities and respond to Wing, Program Execution Group (PEG), Program Executive Officer (PEO) question(s) related to the MARs

§ Coordinate Weekly Activity Reports (WARs) for the PEO Command and Control (C2), Combat Support Systems (CS), and Space programs


Program Management:

§ Assists in coordinating the contractor’s IMP and IMPS

§ Assist in coordinating program risk reviews and briefings

§ Review contractor deliverable status together with milestone schedules, status reports, and cost performance reports

§ Determine accuracy of information/situation depicted, and report inconsistencies

§ Assist in preparing briefings and reports in direct support of the acquisition program management function

 

Source Selection:

§ Assist in preparing acquisition program documentation such as SOOs and Technical Requirements Documents (TRD)

§ Review proposals and assess contractor's technical approaches, Basis of Estimates, and risks and mitigation plans; Identify proposal risks

§ Participate in acquisition strategy analysis and planning

§  Remain fully cognizant of current Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Air Force an ESC acquisition policies and directives concerning the conduct of Source Selections

§ Review or propose inputs to Requests for Proposal (RFP), including Statements of Objective (SOO), Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Sections L (Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors) and M (Evaluation Factors for Award), and other source selection related documents such as Acquisition Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP) and Commodity Acquisition Management Plans (CAMP)

§ Develop and structure Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL)
