Analyst

We have established international offices in order to better serve a major retail client, and are recruiting for analysts to join our team. 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Analyst to join our growing team in California.  We are conveniently located at the intersection of I-580/I-680 in a beautiful business park setting with free parking.  We offer an excellent benefit package and competitive compensation.

Job Duties:

Ø  Support the analytical relationship with one of the largest grocery retailers in the US

Ø  Analyze transaction data for over 20million customers

Ø  Learn and apply fresh statistical ideas that help our client make key business decisions

Ø  Utilize your skills gained through education & experience to bring innovation to the business

Ø  Participate in analysis summits with our global analysis team

Ø  Present your own work to clients and internally in EYC

Ø  Assist in the development of tools built for over 100 manufacturer clients

Ø  Build new databases that form the foundation of our analysis capabilities

Ø  Work hand in hand with the London team through key analysis projects

Key Skills

Ø  Data manipulation – understanding of database principles.

Ø  Technical – SAS experience ideal, alternatively experience of SQL or database design (e.g. MS Access).  Also proficient in the use of MS Excel.

Ø  Statistics – familiarity with foundation statistics.

Ø  Verbal communication – ability to convey thoughts and approaches clearly and concisely.

Ø  Presentation – ability to present work in PowerPoint and MS Word

Ø  Analytical thinking – be able to design appropriate metrics to match the clients needs and analytics
