Position:  Analyst/Senior Analyst (Valuation & Financial Opinions)

 

Location:  Cleveland, OH 

 

General Purpose: Seeking a full time analyst/senior analyst as a team member in our Valuation Group performing business and intangible asset valuations for closely held and publicly traded companies.  Analysts/senior analysts will work on a variety of assignments in numerous industries.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:  Analysts/senior analysts are responsible for developing financial models, performing economic and industry research, and creating presentations and reports that are submitted to our clients.  Our services are utilized for many purposes including:

__Financial, tax, and regulatory requirements

__Purchase price allocation (SFAS 141) and goodwill impairment studies (SFAS 142)

__Employee stock ownership plans

__Fairness and solvency opinions

__Estate and gift taxation

__Intellectual property disputes

__Shareholder disputes

__Property taxation

__Feasibility studies

__Financing purposes

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

__Basic/intermediate understanding of financial theory and general accounting issues

Education and/or Training:

__4-year degree necessary, with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting

__Minimum 2-4 years experience in finance or accounting-related field
