Position Summary
The National Recruiter is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans and programs to achieve qualitative staffing results. Additionally, they will be responsible for ongoing name generation, name qualification, the building of an ongoing pool of candidates that could be hired within any of our local offices. They may be focused on several executive searches or be working on special projects based on local office needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Director of Recruitment and VP of HR to gain a detailed understanding of organizational goals and needs.
- Proactively maintain a high quality and responsive relationship with Director of Recruitment and/or the local office for the projects they are supporting.
- Ensure attainment of all national recruitment needs from a quality, cost, and time-to-fill & diversity perspective.
- Provide strategic recruiting expertise by staying abreast of recruiting trends, best practices, and technological advancements. Function as subject matter expert with regards to sourcing trends, new recruitment tools, and competitive intelligence.
- Consult with the Director of Recruitment and local office leaders with regards to consulting trends, compensation, and competitive intelligence.
- Responsibility for management of the full life cycle of recruitment process from specification development and first interview through employment offer. (Sole responsibility will be dependent on designation by the Director of Recruitment, as well as the search, the level, and the team's current bandwidth).
- Present qualified candidate pool along with assessments.
- Debrief with interviewers and candidates.
- Schedule interviews and travel for candidates (with support from Recruiting Coordinator).
- Prepare recruitment reports and metrics in conformance to established processes.
Sourcing: 70% Sourcing and 30% Candidate Screening
The National Recruiter is responsible for developing multiple pools of talent for various business groups in response to specific client demands. Through consistent execution of a direct, competitive recruiting strategy as well as other creative channels, the National Recruiter will identify prospective talent within competitive organizations and proactively recruit qualified "passive" candidates.
- Continuously improve recruiting sourcing strategy and execution to produce new prospective candidates per week
- Discover and use new sourcing channels to identify and reach prospective talent
- Communicate directly with and successfully recruit prospects via phone calls, email, online user group chats, professional associations, etc.
- Make direct, proactive, initial recruiting contact with desired prospects at competitor firms
- Develop candidate profiles; utilize profiles and resumes to record and document all identified prospective talent
- Create and update lists, organization charts and other data relevant to targeted talent
- Develop, monitor and report on metrics regarding the overall efficacy of candidate referrals, and continuously improve sourcing effectiveness based upon these metrics
- Continue to enhance and approve upon our current and established Employee Referral
Successful candidates must have 7+ years recruiting experience, with at least 3 years recent experience recruiting employees for the "Big 4" or other reputable consulting firms with the ability to team with the Director of Recruitment, local office leadership as well as additional key Human resources leaders to support the overall NH value proposition.
Specifically the National Recruiter will possess:
- The ability to sell the NH value proposition, negotiate and close top talent.
- Technology or Management Consulting recruiting experience in a consulting environment, filling positions at various levels up to executive level.
- Exceptional client and candidate relationship skills with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills to generate new candidates.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with extreme attention to detail
- Manage candidate expectations, provide timely feedback, and insure that candidates have a positive recruiting experience.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using various applicant tracking systems, the internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other productivity tools.
- Executive search experience a plus.
