Biztalk Specialist

Hi-Tech Solutions is recruiting for a Biztalk Specialist with 5 years of information systems experience in a large enterprise systems environment supporting mission-critical systems and applications. Must be well versed with entire SDLC process.

Qualifications:

A high degree of demonstrated technical excellence in his/her technical specialty. Excellent problem solving skills across multiple disciplines.

Technical Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in MS Visual Studio 2003/2006 and eCommerce applications This person stabilizes the environment from a s/w perspective Wanting “INTEL” smart candidates This person will manage code promotions (moving code from production environment to qa environment, etc) Familiarity with SDLC is critical for this position, this person is the SDLC “police force”.  Also important are best practices and an understanding of ITIL principles would be a real plus. May architect and install biztalk, but no development. The applications are customer facing.  VMWare is good, but not imperative They use Install Shield pretty extensively, like to use it to bundle things, and seem to like “Install Shield Wizard” Windows background is second most important.  Either from an operations perspective or MS Visual Studio 2004/2006. Their developers have carte blanche to develop, test, do as they please, etc. prior to the app going to QA – then this middleware person locks down the environment.  This person will ensure permissions are set to QA can go in and do their testing and validation. The middleware person migrates the code into production. They consider their help desk people “first tier” support, the middleware people “second tier” support and the development people “third tier” support. Code changes are made by the development team QA team performs testing and validation Middleware team migrates code from one environment to another. They have 3 full time people, 3 consultants, and are looking to bring in these 3 more individuals. Another of their applications is taking several Windows applications and bringing together to make a single client to front end a lot of the back end support  They expect to roll this out to 1700 customers once it’s done These are all custom apps written with standard tools. These are all home grown applications created specifically for their unique business processes.
