Bookkeeper

ITA International seeks a full time experienced bookkeeper to assist the Senior Accountant.  Successful candidate will have previous government contracting experience as well as experience in Accounts Payable, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, electronic timecard systems, Access and Power Point.  Individual should be a self starter, detail oriented, and require little supervision. 

Ideal candidate would have experience with the following:Managing travel program to include making travel arrangements, processing travel claimsProcessing employee expense reports by checking receipts for accuracy and proper coding Processing Accounts payable by inputting vendor invoices into accounting system, mailing checks, etc.Entering/processing payroll and distribute into payroll system/accounting systemEntering daily deposits into accounting systemReconciling bank/credit card statements and vendor invoices.Other typical financial, clerical and receptionist responsibilities

 

Prefer a bachelor degree in business or accounting and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.  This is a very busy department so the right person will enjoy a fast-paced environment.  Works under immediate supervision of Senior Accountant.
