Budget Analyst

Our Technology & Management Solutions group is growing and we are currently seeking a Budget Analyst. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the budget formulation, presentation, and execution as well as day-to-day budgetary functions regarding the management of an organizational or program budget. In addition, this individual will assist with developing the early detection fiscal spend plans, balance and reconcile organizational budget with other accounting organizations, and assist with maintaining in-house budget to include analysis of obligations and disbursements. This position will be located on client site in Arlington, VA, and will be responsible for the following:Fill a key position in the delivery of support services related to program management and acquisition management in a federal government program office. Work with government executives in the operation of a large-scale government program office. Develop and execute plans, methodologies and processes to effectively perform budget management in an operational environment. Design and implement budget and performance integration methods to provide information for decision making at the executive level.

Requirements:A minimum of 5 years experience supporting large-scale federal government program offices as a government contractor in the area of budget management, DHS experience highly desired. Strong planning and organizational skills. Experience in process management, budget/performance integration. Experience with budget/process analysis in the federal government. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment. Ability to coordinate diverse program internal stakeholders. Bachelors degree in a related field, such as business management or management science. Solid computer skills with Microsoft applications. Active security clearance required.

Desired:Experience using project management software (i.e. MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus. PMI PMP or CAPM or DAU Program Management Certification MBA
