About The Position

The Business Analyst Manager at Reval provides leadership and industry expertise to the Business Analysts team. The Business Analyst Manager reports to the Delivery Manager and works in close collaboration with the Product Managers to create and execute Product Release plans distributing work among Business Analysts team, providing timely status on work accomplished, resolving and escalating team issues. The Business Analyst Manager participates in and leads the collection and understanding of business requirements with clients and Reval internal teams.  The Business Analyst Manager provides expertise during design and development phases of product delivery, reviews development at various stages to ensure that the deliverable performs as expected. 

 

Required Experience

A good candidate would possess the following:5+yrs of relevant experienceBA/BS, MBA preferredExcellent product knowledge; preferably derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, and/or commoditiesStrong management skillsAbility to review others work and mentorGood functional understanding of technology Good understanding of structured developmental methodologyUnderstanding the impact of issues on project schedules and scopeStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExpertise in collecting and understanding business requirements, and translating these into requirements documents, use cases and functional specifications.Good experience with the design of test plans and test casesAbility to prepare necessary documentation (Requirements, Functional Specification, Release notes, etc.)Ability to communicate issues clearly to both business and technology professionals Ability to juggle multiple tasks Self motivated and driven to succeed; tenacious in obtaining results
