Company: Resources Global Professionals Location: Portland, OR 97201 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Company: Resources Global Professionals Email: Apply by Email Reference Code: 1243795MBO Client Service Director The Position The Director of Client Service has primary responsibility for the development of new business; the management of existing clients, engagements and Associates; and participates in recruiting of Associates. This position will be located in Portland. Responsibilities • Continually develop new business by identifying target clients, networking, meeting with target clients, and selling all Resources’ service lines. • Cultivate and expand existing business relationships through frequent communication and regular client visits. • Sell projects to new and existing clients, clarifying the scope of projects with clients, identifying business solutions, presenting qualified Associates to the client, and negotiating billing arrangements. • Represent Resources in appropriate professional and community organizations. • Identify future project needs of client and minimizes engagement disruption through managing engagement and ensuring clients’ expectations are met. • Minimize Associates “unassigned time” by managing Associate roll off dates and communicating regularly with Associates regarding additional client needs and/or other appropriate engagement in the pipelines. • Assist in the recruitment of Associates, conduct interviews and assess skill set and competencies of candidates, negotiate Associates’ compensation. • Ensure approved business contracts are executed by taking responsibilities for the completion of all engagement paperwork. • Support team goals of the office by participating in strategy meetings, including discussing candidate and Associate pipeline, marketing strategies, and current challenges. • Provide for timely collection of receivables by monitoring payment of client invoices. • Maintain strong communications with Associates assigned to client engagements. • Minimize Associates “unassigned time” by managing Associate roll off dates and communicating regularly with Associates regarding additional client needs and/or other appropriate engagement in the pipelines. • Assist in the recruitment of Associates, conduct interviews and assess skill set and competencies of candidates, negotiate Associates’ compensation. • Ensure approved business contracts are executed by taking responsibilities for the completion of all engagement paperwork. • Support team goals of the office by participating in strategy meetings, including discussing candidate and Associate pipeline, marketing strategies, and current challenges. • Provide for timely collection of receivables by monitoring payment of client invoices. • Maintain strong communications with Associates assigned to client engagements. Professional Qualifications Minimum Requirements: The candidate must have at least one of the following areas of expertise: • Ten (10) years of experience, including Big Four public accounting/auditing experience and management level experience in the Accounting/Finance or Internal Audit industry; and a CPA or CISA strongly preferred. > • Ten (10) years of experience, including Big Four IT consulting experience and management level experience in the IT consulting industry; and systems implementation and ERP experience. Plus: • A professional network in the Portland area. • 4-year bachelor degree required. • Experience identifying opportunities with clients, networking and generating leads. • Demonstrated track record of positive change in all positions held. Personal Characteristics • A high level of enthusiasm for building a business and a personal sense of urgency and capacity to overcome obstacles. • Ability to respond effectively and quickly to clients’ needs and issues. • Ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients, Associates and management. • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities/projects and proven ability to develop business relationships. Reporting The Director of Client Service reports to the local Office Managing Director. Compensation Resources Global Professionals offers an attractive compensation and benefits package that includes: competitive base salary, medical/dental, bonus incentive plan, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, and stock options.
