Consultant - Enterprise Asset Management
EDI is looking for experienced EAM Consultants to become a part of our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation team. EDI is a St. Petersburg, FL based consulting firm specializing in improving asset management processes and implementing world class EAM systems in various industries. Some of our clients include some of the largest Biotechnology companies in the world, large airports and aviation based businesses and organizations in various other asset intensive industries. Our projects include implementing best maintenance practices, configuration and customizations of top tier applications based upon J2EE architecture, integration with GIS, ERP, and other enterprise level systems, as well as development of original applications where required.
We need consultants with experience implementing enterprise-wide business process improvements and best of breed software packages. Experience with IBM's Maximo, Datastream's 7i, SAP PM, Oracle EAM, or other similar products a plus.

Job Purpose:
Serves client needs by delivering and evaluating services at a client location; supports staff.
Duties:
* Enhances consulting staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
* Achieves client services operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
* Plans service objectives by determining requirements; defining, assembling, and scheduling required service resources; confirming costs; defining service measurements.
* Resolves issues by obtaining and coordinating reaction among service areas.
* Increases revenue by recommending new and additional services to client; presenting cost-benefit analysis.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Accomplishes service mission by completing related results as needed.
