Consulting Firm Partner

Profit2 is an 11-person consulting firm that helps companies improve their pricing systems and build profitability.  We seek an additional Partner to help us continue to grow…we offer autonomy, the support of a strong team and the benefits of building a successful consulting practice.

 

Our partners’ primary responsibility is the acquisition and retention of our clients.  Your responsibilities as a partner include:

 

q Initial Contact of Prospects by Telephone- expect to spend 20 hours per week in contacting qualified prospects to arrange telephone conferences

q Partner Conferences with Prospects- you will plan and participate in partner conversations with prospect executive teams

q Preparation for Presentations and Studies- you will coordinate data acquisition and initial pricing studies.

q Presentation of Initial Study Findings to Clients- follow-up on meetings to negotiate and initiate engagements

q Project planning and execution

 

We have developed a marketing methodology that has proven quite successful in acquiring and retaining clients.  Our Senior Partners will assist you in mastering this methodology.  Financial and IT specialists will support your efforts and enable you to profitably leverage your time.  You should be:

 

q Articulate, listen well and comfortable with C-level executives

q Persistent and patient enough to prospect by phone

q Money motivated and very objective focused

q Independent but able to work collaboratively

q Analytical yet approachable

 

You will primarily work from home.  Travel will account for about15 to 20% of your time.  Base salary is only $40,000.  Your main source of income will be income you generate from each new client program you initiate.  You will earn a minimum of an additional $40,000 in bonus at the baseline objective, and over $100,000 for performance above this level.  We do not provide benefits, but we don’t cap our partners’ earnings.  Your income can continue to grow as your performance improves and we further leverage your expertise.
