Consulting Services- Sr. Consultant

Our firm is growing!  Exervio Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant with a minimum of five years of work experience for its Consulting Services Practice. Successful candidates will:

 

·  Have prior management consulting experience

·  Exhibit the highest degree of professionalism and creativity

·  Have the ability to analyze and solve complex business problems

·  Possess the accountability and personal responsibility to own and drive results

·  Have direct experience in managing or delivering process improvement projects

·  Be able to provide evidence of a marked improvement in business performance as a direct result of their involvement

 

Individuals may participate in all phases of the management consulting process, from problem-identification through solution development and deployment.

 

Candidate will be based in Charlotte, NC and should expect approximately 25% travel.

 Skills:

 Function as liaison between lines of business and information technology or external vendors Gather, analyze and evaluate data in order to recommend best business practices and solutionsPossess good verbal and written communication skills Facilitate communication between business and technical staffReport status and escalate issues and risks to project managerUnderstand, react to and solve complex problemsUnderstand project life cycle and or systems development lifecycle (SDLC)Develop or assist in developing business casesGather, define and document business or functional requirementsUtilize standard techniques such as UML, process flows, use cases, interview skills, workshop facilitation to gather requirementsDocument business and functional requirements using standard templates and toolsParticipate in test planning processCreate test cases, test scripts, user acceptance testingCollaborate with Quality AssuranceMonitor requirements through implementationApply process improvement methodologiesCreate process maps/models for “current state” and “future state” processes

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidates must be self-starters and have a successful history of working in a team environment.  We require entrepreneurial, energetic team players with strong interpersonal, client relationship and collaboration skills.

 

We prefer candidates with experience in at least 2 of the following industries: financial services, health care, manufacturing, consumer products, retail, and telecommunications.

 

Candidates should have prior consulting experience, and possess a BA/BS from a four-year institution.
