The IT Strategy Consulting Division provides assistance to senior government leaders in managing their complex enterprise IT investments. We help agencies communicate the CIO’s strategic goals and objectives to employees and ensure that new initiatives comply with federal policies and directives. This division consists of practices in IT Strategic Management, Enterprise Architecture, IT Governance and IT Optimization, Relocation and Business Continuity.



 

Job Description:

The Data Center Architect for the IT Strategy Consulting Division is responsible for data center operations, service delivery and infrastructure engagement. He/she will design and have management of: power, cooling, physical plant, capacity planning and forecasting. They will also manage data center infrastructure including network, storage, facilities and computing platforms.

 

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

· Bachelor’s Degree required.

· Knowledge of cable plant cable types and best practices.

· Experience with the use of virtualization products such as VMWare, Xen and Scalent.

· Knowledge of blade servers, virtualization and consolidation.

· Understanding of disaster recovery from a data center perspective.

· Preferred skills and education in:Certification in PMP, CCNA and MCSEKnowledge of at least one OSAbility to use network testing equipment: MS Office and Visio
