The Enterprise Information Management Division focuses on enterprise business integration.  It covers the complete lifecycle of information management, from initial strategy and technology selection, through design and deployment, to long-term support and iterative improvement. This division consists of practices in Master Data Management, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and works closely with related practices in Knowledge Management, Portal Solutions and Business Process Improvement.



 

Job Description:

The Data / Information Architect in the Enterprise Information Management Division will develop and deliver long-term strategic solutions for data & information architecture to key stakeholders.  The architect will help clients establish a formal data governance and stewardship framework and guide them in selecting enterprise & data integration and business intelligence related tools.  This person will also lead the implementation effort of these tools, including master data management, data warehousing & data integration tools.  This position requires both technical leadership as well as hands-on in development of mapping data sources, data movement & integration, interfaces and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality and maintaining information as a leveragable asset.  This position may require travel.

 

Required Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field

· A minimum of 10 years experience

· Deep experience in implementing data integration solutions

· Strong understanding of data warehousing, master data management and business intelligence

· Demonstrated experience in creating data & information management governance policy

· Ability to audit, analyze, and refine the data & information architecture

· An understanding of metadata, its uses and sources

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present and explain complex technical issues

· Strong technical leadership, mentoring and coaching skills

 

Additional Desired Qualifications:

· Experience in designing and implementing Web content management systems that are integrated with multiple underlying applications

· An understanding of taxonomies
