 DATABASE ENGINEER

The selected candidate will play an integral role in the design and development of information systems using advanced tools and techniques for object/relational/semantic database management systems.  The duties will include requirements analysis, process and data modeling, database design and development, application design, system testing, report generation and developing documentation.  The selected candidate will be responsible for generating requirements analysis documentation, process and data models resulting from requirements analysis, translating the process and data models into database and application design, developing the database, integrating, implementing, and testing of the system.

MA/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Science or a related academic field plus 4-6 yrs of directly related experience or BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or directly related technical discipline, plus candidate must have 6-8 years of experience with at least 6 years in Oracle database engineering.  The qualified candidate must have experience in the design and development of Database Management Systems, process and data modeling.  Strong communication skills, to include verbal and written is required.  Candidate must be experienced with Oracle.  Position requires TS/SCI clearance.
